Antigone

Creon, the new king of Thebes, is struggling to gain control over a city ravaged by civil war and personal tragedy. He decrees that the body of Polyneices, a former prince turned traitor, is not to be buried under penalty of death. Antigone, Polyneices's sister, defies the decree and honors her brother's body with a proper burial. This sets Creon and Antigone on a collision course that is sure to shake the foundations of Thebes once more as they question what is most important: loyalty to the city, loyalty to your family, or loyalty to the gods?
